Help Sense improve the Work Capability Assessment
Have you been transferred from Incapacity Benefit to Employment and Support Allowance? If so the Sense Public Policy Team would like to hear from you.
We want to know about your experiences of the Work Capability Assessment. The WCA is part of the process by which the Government assess whether somebody is capable of undertaking work or work related activities, or whether they should be offered support without having to find or prepare for work.
We have created a questionnaire asking you about your experiences of the WCA. If you complete it you will be helping us to influence the Government to improve how they assess deafblind people’s ability to undertake work. The questionnaire will also help us give better advice to individual deafblind people about how to prepare for a WCA.
If you would like to complete the questionnaire by telephone or need a hard copy or electronic text version, please call Sense Public Policy Assistant Jim Lewis on 0207 014 9373 (voice only.) Alternatively email jim.lewis@sense.org.uk.
