Sense's celebrity running team complete the Virgin London Marathon 2013
24 April 2013
We were so proud that our celebrity ambassadors running the Virgin London Marathon 2013 to raise money for Sense completed the course - thank you so much for your support guys!
Zac Taylor, Fitness Guru, Personal Trainer and Columnist for The Sun Newspaper completed the course in a fantastic 3:10, with Michael Copp, Businessman, Entrepreneur, Contestant in BBC1's The Apprentice 2012 coming in at 4:32 and fellow BBC1's The Apprentice star businessman and entrepreneur Adam Corbally and architect Gabrielle Omar reaching the finish line together in 4:55.
Before running, our celebrity team paid a visit to Sense's Anne Wall Centre in Barnet and met some of the inspirational deafblind adults of all ages who have sensory impairments with additional learning and other associated disabilities who use the Centre on a daily basis which provided some real inspiration for them to complete this year's Marathon. Being on The Apprentice means they are used to a tough challenge but they all agree this was one of the toughest yet!
