Terms of use for providers

To register as a provider, please read this disclaimer.

  1. The Deafblind Directory is only for those who can provide services to deafblind people or people with sensory impairments and additional disabilities.
  2. Except where expressly provided in law, Sense shall be under no liability whatsoever to providers or users or any third party for any defect in, failure of, or unsuitability or unfitness for any purpose of this Directory.
  3. Sense does not recommend any particular providers on the Directory. Please see our disclaimer for further information.
  4. Sense reserves the right to suspend or delete a provider profile for whatever reason and is not required to justify this. Providers may delete their own profile at any time.
  5. Sense will not be liable for any lost earnings that are caused by suspending or deleting a profile.
  6. Sense reserves the right to object to any of the information in provider profiles and request that changes are made to a provider’s profile.
  7. By creating a profile on The Deafblind Directory, you are consenting to Sense publishing the information that you enter into your profile on an open database on the Sense website. We will respect your information and will comply with all applicable data protection legislation in force.
  8. Sense will endeavour to give providers reasonable notice of any changes to the terms of use for providers.
