Regional data of future deafblind population
In this section, you can view an estimate of the number of deafblind people in different regions across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The data covers five yearly periods, between 2010 and 2030. You can also view data for Scotland, although this data is not available in regions.
The data has been produced based on an estimation tool developed by Professor Eric Emerson, as part of his report, "Estimating the Number of People with Co-Occurring Vision and Hearing Impairments in the UK" which was commissioned by Sense in 2010.
