Teaming up
To celebrate Deafblind Awareness Week 2009, Penrose staff teamed up with employees from Wildnet, another Sense corporate supporter, to take part in the London to Paris cycle challenge.
Together they raised over £7,500 by completing the 300km from Bexley to the Champs Elysees.
Penrose first began supporting Sense in 2006. Penrose staff began by volunteering at a Sense day centre and this support soon progressed to the sponsorship of the Sense in the City Ice Skate.
Penrose staff participate in various Sense events, have run marathons for us and regularly conduct fundraising sweepstakes in the office. Penrose also supports Sense through the Payback scheme, by donating an agreed sum of funds for each invoice paid by their clients within 28 days.
