International conference on aquired deafblindness

Independent dependency: living in two realities, the 9th international conference on acquired deafblindness, takes place in Lund, Sweden from 7 to 10 November 2012.
The conference, which as been organised by the Acquired Deafblindness Network explores the delicate balance between sustaining a person's independence at a time when their dependence on other people in their daily life is increasing.
A small Sense group, including two Sense members who are deafblind, are attending the conference to deliver plenaries and workshops, as well as learning from the full conference programme of 30 workshops and sharing experiences with colleagues from all over the world.
