Holidays and short breaks
Sense holidays give deafblind people the chance to get away from it all, enjoy new experiences and have a lot of fun!
Also a much needed break is given to families who support a deafblind person.
Summer holidays: Each year Sense organises around 25 week-long summer holidays for more than 100 deafblind children, young people and adults.
From camping to cosy cottages, and canal boats to city breaks, each holiday gives deafblind people the chance to have fun and try new experiences.
Holidays for older people with hearing and sight loss: Holiday Plus holidays are week-long holidays for older people with acquired deafblindness who need additional support to access and enjoy a break.
These holidays usually take place in April each year.
Short breaks: Sense breaks offer children and young people up to the age of 19 years and their families fun and interesting ‘getaway’ opportunities throughout the year in Cornwall and Cambridgeshire.
