Do you get everything you need from your audiology service?
08 July 2013
Do you think that your hearing aids are the best thing since sliced bread or completely the opposite? If you have something good or bad to say about the adult audiology services and hearing technologies (hearing aids and implants) please take part in our research project and tell us about it.
Involvement
We would like to invite deafblind adults (over 18 years of age) to complete the survey questions using any of the following options:
- Online at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Y9ZWJG3
- By post: Please contact Rachel Lightfoot at the Ear Foundation to request the text format that you require: Tel 0115 942 1985 Email rachel@earfoundation.org.uk
- One to one interview: The researcher will come to you along with any communication support that is required
Once the surveys have been completed and the results have been analysed some people will then be asked to participate in a one to one interview to discuss their personal experiences of audiology services and hearing technology in more detail.
Aim of the survey
The aim of this survey is to investigate the experiences of deafblind adults using audiology services and hearing aid technology. The results will be used to make recommendations to those providing or connected to these services and technology.
